A: Welch Allyn cannot conduct research on private payers, as it requires specific identification numbers which are only available to the providers.
Q: Can Welch Allyn research coverage for the State Medicaid plan for my contact's office?
A: Welch Allyn cannot research coverage for the State Medicaid plan for providers. We recommend contacting the payer to determine benefits.
Q: Is a provider paid the same by all payers?
A: No, the provider is paid for services based on his/her physician fee schedule. Each payer is different.
Q: What do I do if an insurance company denies my claim for medical necessity?
